Yogi Spirit

When you begin yoga you may feel as if you are bombarded with all sorts of fancy words.  Ishta devata, mudra, ahimsa, asana…the list could go on for days.  You will probably start to wonder if you signed up for a lesson in Sanskrit or a yoga...

Intention: Reinvention

Intention: Reinvention

“Don’t look for ways to fit your body into the pose; look for ways to fit the pose into your body.” (Said by ME! 😉) In a physical yoga practice the structure of the pose is unchanging, but there are countless forms that can be used within this...

Yogi Secrets: Bandhas

Yogi Secrets: Bandhas

hen you begin a yoga practice you might feel like you are a bit of an outsider. As your instructor says things like, “Lift mula bandha,” you nod your head in agreement, but inside you are screaming, “what the hell is a bandha and where can I get...

The Art of Imbalance

My body and mind used to fight with each other all the time. Now my mind says ‘shut up bitch I got this!!!’ 😂 I had a breakthrough with standing balance poses when I realized that my body is not supposed to be completely still. Oxygen rushes...

It’s Just Handstand

It’s Just Handstand

I am in love with Om. Olga put her heart into every single detail and it shows. If you are looking for a yoga studio that represents love then you need to visit this little treasure. I am so thrilled to have a new place to practice with some amazing fellow yogis. There is no doubt in my mind that this is where I am suppose to be. I am grateful for the way life leads us in the right direction; when we are willing to let go and disconnect from we "think" we should be doing. Much love to Olga.

Olga has built a welcoming, beautiful space for Myrtle Beach (and visiting!)yogis. She truly does accommodate all levels, even absolute beginners! You will feel challenged and supported at the same time, no matter what your experience. I have practiced for over a decade, and am so thrilled to have a place like OM Yoga to call my home studio! Come check out the studio, you will be so glad you did!

I've always wanted to give yoga practice a try but was very intimidated; I have to say that despite my lack of flexibility this studio makes students of all levels feel very comfortable. Olga makes her students feel confident focusing on their strengths and taking note of their progress. This encouragement doesn't feel forced and when she adjusts your positions she is mindful of your body and needs...I almost forgot to mention how gorgeous the studio is! Looking forward to my beginner series and a long relationship with OM Yoga❤️
