Moved to the Grand Strand in 2007.
Being an Aquarian it was his dream to live close to the ocean.
At the beginning, he wanted to take some time off from the corporate world, but when he decided to go back to work it was very difficult for him to find a place where he could grow personally.
He decided to work from home as a translator, but being a trainer for many years and teaching other people new skills always have been his passion.
He wanted to be doing what he likes to do best, be challenged, and help others.
In 2011, he completed his 200 hours of Vinyasa Flow Yoga Instructor
under Angelique Grant at Yoga in Common, Myrtle Beach, S.C.
In 2013, he also completed a second 200 hours of Vinyasa Flow Yoga Instructor under Maribeth MacKenzie & Mimi Rose at Inlet Yoga, Murrells Inlet, S.C.
Since that time, he has continued his studies in the Foundations and Teaching Techniques of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga with senior teachers, including David Swenson, Beryl Bender Birch, David Robson and Tim Feldmann.
He is grateful to have the opportunity to share his passion of yoga with others. His teachings are guided by his personal practice under Maribeth MacKenzie, who consistently encourages him to achieve his best, to be patient and to stay true to the practice.
His classes stem from Ashtanga Yoga to help students understand the depth of the asana practice and importance of linking breath with movement. He challenges his students to explore the amazing possibilities of working with bodily sensation, holding awareness in the moment, and having
curiosity to see what happens-becoming the observer and creating the needed space to examine the experience.
He believes that every yoga practice offers the opportunity to reach new levels of awareness, physically and spiritually. His intent is that students find his classes both challenging and mindful. His hope is that students leave class feeling balanced and energized so they can bring more positive, compassionate energy to their own lives and to all the lives they touch.
